Vrrrrooom.

One Thing I have loved since being able to drive is cars. They move you places faster than walking. My fascination with cars has never been about speed though, it's always about design. And ugly design at that, well at least my first dream car was. The Pontiac Aztek. One of the reasons I liked this car was I got to help design it. Pontiac sent out CD-Roms where you got to design the Aztek, it was all pretty much finalized at this point, but it was a fun little thing anyways. I think the biggest thing it ended up doing was picking the final colors, which like the car itself, had some uglies.

Now if you don't recall what an Aztek looks like let me refresh your memory.
As you can see this thing is not very nice looking, but for some reason I wanted one bad, and still do for that matter. I think it's ugly duckling syndrome or something, I just feel bad for it, and want to take care of it.

The real bad thing about this beast, is that it could have been a much better styled vehicle if they would of stuck with the concept styling as seen below.
That is a seriously good looking SUV, especially for something designed in the late 1990's. Actually I want to morph through my computer monitor, and hotwire this thing and drive it back to the future. I will also be bring the sea-doo.

Some other dream cars of mine have been 2000s Pontiac Grand Am GT, Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, and a Pontiac G8 GXP. As you can likely see I really like the Pontiacs, and I am sad to have seen them go. Right before Pontiac went extinct, it had released concept for the G8 ST. ST stands for sport truck, and you maybe thinking well, isn't the G8 a badass sedan, and the answer is of course yes, but you need to think even more badass El Camino here.
Yeah, that is awesome, I know. I was really hoping GM would bring it over to Chevrolet, but alas they did not.

I am currently driving a 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT which is a pretty sweet little hatchback, but you always need a dream car in reserve I say. Since I fell in love with my Vibe, I knew I would likely fall for another hatchback, and GMC brought the coolest hatchback concept ever out this past January, in the GMC Granite.

I really love the styling on this car, it looks pretty futuristic, but in a gaudy way that I love. As I was searching the interwebs today to see if they have green-lighted this for production I come across this...
Oh yeah that's right the most awesome vehicle ever conceived. I have no doubt, if this is made this is my next car. One thing I liked alot about the Aztek was that the hatch could be lifted up and you could put a tent in it...
The back end of the GMC Granite CPU, CPU standing for Compact Pickup, fold out and down for an extra two feet to lay stuff down on. Not only does it have that extra space, but it has taillights built in to make it street legal.

From here the bottom folds out and you have a good amount of extra space this is awesome engineering and makes this the current car of my dreams.
